Identify and recruit the right reseller partners
that have the focus and expertise to compliment the Vendors products
Manage relationships with key VARs within an
assigned geography. Motivate VARs to achieve greater sales, and coach them on
the most effective use of marketing events and the vendor's sales tools
Develop channel sales plans and strategies for
building/maintaining a robust channel sales pipeline and moving key
opportunities through the sales cycle. Review with management and channel
partners as requested by the vendor
Engage partner sales / account teams to identify
opportunities for new business. Develop, manage, and report on partner sales
funnel. Set quotas and objectives with channel partners that are in line with
the vendor's goals
Work hand-in-hand with partners through entire
sales process including sales collateral, joint customer presentations, tender
preparation, pricing, negotiating, contracting, etc
Assure partners have up to date knowledge of new
products, features, roadmap, etc. Provide regular training.
Work with the Vendor's marketing to develop and
execute lead generation programs for channel partners in assigned region.
Develop/maintain legal agreements with channel
partners in line with the company’s Reseller Authorization and training
requirements..
Follow the established sales processes of the
vendor and effectively utilize the available sales resources provided by the
vendor.
Work with Account Managers and Technical
Consultants to add value to the clients’ business requirements
Assist in creating an alliance with principles and
vendor
Create a strategy to be successfully put on
Government Procurement Vehicles and manage the mandatory reporting which is
required by the Government. Introduction
to key Government procurement officials
Representation with local industry group on behalf
of the Manufacturer
Management of Co-op and MDF programs
